Production tracking, traceability, quality, warehouse and e-document flows. A working ERP stays in place; the system that captures operational reality is built alongside it and posts back at defined points.

In short

When is a custom business system the right call instead of a packaged ERP?

When the process gives the company an advantage and the package can only absorb it by breaking it. Neuros does not propose replacing a working ERP: the ERP stays the owner of the financial record, while the system that captures operational reality is built separately and posts back at defined points. That split lowers risk and markedly speeds the project up.

In manufacturing companies the data is already being collected; the problem is where it sits. The shift schedule is in a spreadsheet, the quality measurement in a folder, the shipment in the ERP — and when a customer audit arrives the chain is assembled by hand. The systems we build are not there to produce new reports but to remove the need to enter the same record twice. That depends on the shop floor: if entry is not easy for the person doing it, the system goes unused, and an unused system produces wrong reports.

Capabilities

What happens on the floor, in the record.

01

Production tracking

Production records by work order, machine and shift, with downtime reasons, scrap and efficiency measurement.

02

Traceability

Batch and serial number chains, traced backwards and forwards from raw material to shipment.

03

Quality and maintenance

Control plans, measurement records, non-conformance and corrective-action tracking, planned maintenance calendars.

04

Warehouse and dispatch

Internal movements, stock counts, picking lists, gate traffic and dispatch matching against customer systems.

05

e-Document integration

E-invoice, e-archive and e-waybill flows running through the business system and reconciling with accounting.

06

Multi-site permissions

Site-level data separation and permissions, with headquarters able to watch every site in a single report.

Frequently asked

Questions we get asked

As a rule, no. A working ERP stays in place as the owner of the financial and commercial record; the system we build captures operational reality and posts back at defined points. Which data flows in which direction, and how often reconciliation runs, is settled in writing during discovery. An ERP change only arises when the existing system genuinely cannot be integrated.

It depends on what the machine exposes. Equipment with a data output can be read directly; where there is none, the route is operator entry, a counter or barcode scanning. During discovery the machine park is assessed item by item and a list is made of how data will come from each. Mixed methods are normal: automatic reads and manual entry can coexist in one system.

Yes. Applications built for the shop floor are designed to work offline: records are held on the device and synchronised when connectivity returns. Even if the link never comes back during a shift, no data is lost. Where the same record changes in two places, which version wins is agreed as a rule with the business unit at the start of the project.

Yes; that is what the system is built for. From a part number the chain back to the raw-material batch, the production record, quality measurements and the shipping document becomes queryable. Records are stored immutably as they are created, and any later edit leaves its own trace — an audit asks about the integrity of the record as much as the record itself.
