How much does it cost to build a mobile app?
The cost of a mobile app is set by four things rather than the screen count: one shared codebase or two native apps, how many external systems it connects to, whether it must work offline, and the level of security required. Payment, identity and map integrations each add their own testing load. A simple single-platform app takes 8–12 weeks; a two-platform product with its own backend takes 12–20.
A mobile app is not judged on first install but on day-30 retention. From the first sprint we embed the analytics event schema, crash reporting and A/B infrastructure directly into the product.

If most screens are forms, lists and detail views, React Native or Flutter cover both platforms from one codebase. Native — Swift or Kotlin — wins in modules that sit close to the device: camera processing, background location, Bluetooth and heavy graphics. Neuros does not pit them against each other: most of the app is cross-platform and the critical module is written natively and bridged in.
Most rejections come from policy clauses rather than code: no account-deletion flow, an unexplained permission request, privacy labels that do not match the app's actual behaviour, and payment flows routed outside the store. Neuros puts these clauses on the pre-release checklist, and Apple's review guidelines and Google Play's requirements are part of the release note.
Yes. Neuros designs mobile apps offline-first: data is held in a local database on the device, the user can write while disconnected, and a sync queue drains when connectivity returns. When the same record changes on two devices, conflict resolution is written as an explicit rule — last-write-wins or field-level merge — so the user never meets lost data.
Launch day is the start of the maintenance window, not the end of the work. Neuros monitors crash-free session rate, OS version distribution and store rating after release, and keeps a planned release calendar for OS updates and store policy changes. The maintenance scope is contractual: response time, fix priority and the number of releases per month are written down.
A straightforward single-platform app takes 8–12 weeks; a two-platform product with its own backend takes 12–20. What sets the timeline is not the number of screens but the number of integrations — payment, identity, maps and enterprise connections each add their own test load. Store review time is scheduled on top of that.
