In short
What does an appointment management app actually solve?
Neuros built the customer and business sides as separate flows inside one app. The core has four parts: location-based discovery, a calendar keyed to service and staff member, reminder notifications and cancellation rules. Because the calendar holds staff and service duration together, a clash becomes structurally impossible, while reminders reduce the empty slots caused by no-shows.
01Challenge
Bookings are taken by phone and written in a notebook; double bookings, no-shows and empty slots hit revenue directly, and customers have no standard way to find a nearby business.
02Approach
Customer and business sides live in one app with separate flows. Location-based discovery, calendars per service and staff member, reminder notifications and cancellation rules form the core.
03Outcome
The booking notebook became a calendar, removing double bookings and forgotten appointments.

Same app, separate flows. A customer finds a nearby business, picks an available slot and receives a reminder; the business manages its calendar, staff and service durations. They are kept in one app not to reduce downloads but because an appointment is the same record on both sides: when one party cancels, it shows on the other immediately.
They do, but timing decides. A notification sent a week ahead is forgotten, and one sent an hour ahead is too late to cancel. This project uses a two-stage reminder: one the day before asking for confirmation, and one a few hours before the appointment. An unconfirmed slot can be reopened according to the cancellation rule.
