Logistics & Supply Chain
An optimisation problem that has to be re-solved every morning.
- distance travelled
- -%17distance travelled
- on-time delivery
- %96on-time delivery
Margin in logistics hides in the balance between distance travelled and on-time delivery. That balance resets every morning against traffic, capacity, delivery windows and driver shifts — a problem no manual planner can solve well. We combine constraint programming with learned prediction.
In short
What does logistics software actually do?
Logistics software joins four jobs: shipment tracking, fleet and vehicle location, warehouse movements and proof of delivery. Its value comes mostly from removing uncertainty — you no longer call a driver to find out where a vehicle is, and proof of delivery reaches the system at the moment of delivery rather than days later. Neuros builds route planning as a loop that reruns during the day, because a plan computed in the morning loses validity by midday traffic.
What's hard in this sector
An optimisation problem that has to be re-solved every morning.
The planning window
Planning is squeezed into the early morning; a calculation that takes hours delays operations.
Real-time deviation
Plans break in the field. Optimisation without replanning is worthless by the afternoon.
Missing visibility
If you do not know where a shipment is, you cannot promise a customer anything or manage the exception.
What we can build for you

The gain depends on how realistically the constraints are modelled. Before optimising, Neuros measures the current plan: actual time per stop, time-window violations and empty-return share. A solution that only shortens distance but breaks a driver shift or a customer window never survives in the field — so the objective is total cost per fulfilled delivery, not kilometres.
Yes, it has to. On a delivery route coverage drops in basements, industrial estates and between towns, so Neuros builds driver apps offline-first: route and customer data are downloaded to the device at the start of the day, proof of delivery, signature and photos are stored locally, and the queue drains when connectivity returns. Records are processed on the server with an idempotency key, so the same delivery is never posted twice.
Usually not. Neuros adds a task-optimisation layer on top of the existing warehouse management system: it reads order and stock data, optimises picking sequence and slotting, and writes the result back. Replacement only comes up when the current system cannot provide real-time reads — and even then the migration is staged rather than done in one move.
